Hello. Does anyone know what Novak is doing nowadays and if he is going to be the drummer for Alanis' new cd and tour?

He has not worked with Alanis in quite a few years. Currently he does gigs in LA, he is playing tomorrow night at LaVeLee with Jeff Richman. He will be at the spud on the 18th.

Drew Zingg rules, he was on the 1st Steely Dan tour with Peter Erskine and this guy on guitar in that band OWNED the gig along withg Ersko. He nailed the parts to the T. MO, that was the BEST band the Dan ever had.

Are any of you guys going to see either? Man, I'd love to see both. And the Richman w Novak show; what a burner that's going to be. But then you LA folks get to see that kind of stuff all the time. Novak rules. He's up there w the Vinnie's & Weckl's, just a diff shade of the rainbow. Sounds a lot more like in the Vinnie veign than others, tho. Kinda like B Connor's to Allan H? [I might take some flack for that one, esp from gtrsts [img]wink.gif[/img] ]. But still his own.

Yeah, what else can ya say about SF; he's great.
When you talk about the Gadds/Jeffs/Vegas'/Marottas/Robinsons/Keltners/Schaeffers/Crampfs/Gordons, etc of the recorded world, ya gotta throw in Ferrone AW. [img]graemlins/thumbs_up.gif[/img]
